Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This policy explains what information HomeDojo collects, how it is used, and who can see it.
HomeDojo is operated by Copia International Ltd.
We do not sell your information, and we do not show ads.

What we collect

  • Account: your name, email address, and password.
We never see your password, which our login provider stores in scrambled (hashed) form.
  • Profile: an optional photo and phone number.
  • Children: a name and an optional photo for each child profile a parent adds.
  • Group activity: which groups you belong to, your role, title, and rank, the classes you check in to, attendance, and payment records entered by your group's staff.
  • Documents: signed documents, including your typed name, your drawn signature, and the details a group asks for, such as email, phone, address, and emergency contact.
  • Messages: chat messages and reactions in your groups.
  • Notifications: inbox items, your notification settings, and, if you turn on phone alerts, a device address that lets us send notifications through your browser's push service.
  • Billing: for group owners, the plan and subscription status.
Once payments open, card details are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.
  • Technical: our hosting and database providers keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and times, for security and reliability.
HomeDojo does not use advertising trackers.
We use browser storage to keep you logged in and to remember your settings.

How we use it

  • To run HomeDojo: show your groups, classes, and records to the people who should see them.
  • To send the emails you ask for, such as confirmations and password resets, and the notifications you have turned on.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
  • To take payments from group owners.
  • To answer your questions.

Who can see your information

  • Other members of a group can see your name and photo, and your phone number if you added one.
  • A group's owner and moderators can also see attendance, payment records, signed documents, and the details you gave when signing, such as emergency contacts.
  • Chat messages are visible to the people in that chat.
  • Parents and guardians can see and manage the profiles of their children.
  • A small number of people at HomeDojo can access account and group details when needed to give support, keep the service safe, or fix a problem.

Who we share it with

We use a few service providers to run HomeDojo.
They handle information only to provide their service to us.

  • Supabase: our database, login, and file storage, including photos.
  • Cloudflare: hosting for the website and app, DNS, and forwarding of our support email.
  • Resend: sending emails such as confirmations and password resets.
  • Stripe: payments, once payments open.
  • Your browser's push service, run by Apple, Google, or Mozilla: delivering the phone alerts you turn on.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people's safety.
If HomeDojo is ever sold or merged, your information may move to the new owner, and we will tell you.

Children

A parent or guardian adds and manages a child's profile.
We do not knowingly let a child under 13 create their own account.
A child 13 or older can get their own login with a parent's approval, and the child's records then move to their account.
If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email support@homedojoapp.com and we will remove it.

Keeping and deleting your information

  • You can see what we hold about you, and download it, under "View my data" on the Profile tab.
  • You can change your name, photo, and phone number at any time.
  • You can delete your account on the Profile tab.
Your login, photo, phone number, and notification settings are erased, and you and any children you manage leave every group.
  • Your name stays in your groups' attendance and payment records, where only their owners and moderators can see it.
Groups with nobody else in them are deleted.
  • A group's staff can delete a signed document.
The signature and details are erased, and a short note of the deletion is kept for the group's staff: who signed, which document, when, and who deleted it.
  • Group owners can remove members, and parents can remove their children's profiles.
Attendance and payment records stay with the group.
  • Backups may hold deleted information for a limited time before it is removed.

To ask us to delete something you can't remove yourself, email support@homedojoapp.com.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, and access is limited by account and role.
No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You choose which notifications you get, under Profile, then Notifications.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your information, or to object to how it is used.
To use these rights, email support@homedojoapp.com.
We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy.
We will post the new version here and change the date at the top.
If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or by email.
